Jutta holds a master’s degree in Chinese studies and a PhD in Japanese studies. In early 2007, she joined the European Patent Office in Vienna and now works in the Patent Information User Services Team. For many years, she was a member of the EPO's Asian patent information services, later renamed Worldwide IP, responsible for Japanese and subsequently Chinese patent information. She’s a regular trainer and presenter at various patent information events and conferences, where she represents the EPO and services related to its patent information tools.
